It gives me immense pleasure to submit the Self Study Report of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Mahavidylaya, Girwan, Banda (U.P.) to the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore for the 1stCycle of Accreditation in conformity of IIQA requirements for further quality improvement and to strengthen us in our quest for quality improvement. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Mahavidyalya, a pioneer institution of higher studies having Education Streams in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh on road Banda Narini Road College was established on 2013 with a mission to impart higher education among the students of the locality mostly from rural communities and to strive for an all round development of the students. This institute of pioneering higher education is recognized by the UGC under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the Body enacted on 2017. The College has been consistently maintaining high academic standards and good institutional social responsibilities. the college is imparting B.Ed and B.El.Ed Courses..

डॉ.बी.आर.अंबेडकर महाविद्यालय गिरवा,बांदा,(उ.प्र.), में स्थित प्रसिद्ध डिग्री कॉलेज में से एक है, कॉलेज में स्नातक में सभी विषयों के प्रमुख कोर्स B.A.,B.Sc.(Agriculture), B.El.Ed., B.Ed., D.El.Ed. हैं। डॉ.बी.आर.अंबेडकर महाविद्यालय गिरवा,बांदा, नकल विहीन व शैक्षणिक वातावरण, छात्रों के लिए दिया गया है महाविद्यालय में विज्ञान और मनोविज्ञान प्रयोगशाला और कंप्यूटर प्रयोगशाला और पुस्तकालय की सुविधाएं छात्र छात्राओं को दी जाती हैं। हमारे यहां स्मार्ट क्लासेस की भी सुविधा उपलब्ध है महाविद्यालय का परिसर प्रदूषण मुक्त और पर्यावरण अनुकूल है जहां छात्र छात्राओं को के लिए स्पोर्ट्स ग्राउंड की भी सुविधा उपलब्ध है।

Providing a friendly, inclusive, learning environment where all take pride in learning and achievement. The motive is based on Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar ideology and alos Gandhian ideology. The College was founded in 2013. This college was founded under the guidance of Dr Babu lal Tiwari a native of village Jarar, district Banda.
Curricular Aspects
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Mahavidylaya Girwan Banda is a undergraduate course in education. The college was given permanent affiliation in B.Ed and B.El.Ed courses. The College follows merit basis in admission to each course as per UP Govt./University. after completing the admission process lecture methods, indtrouctive method etc. are delivered to the students according to the time table set up by the college to tht norms of the unviversity/ncte. In the beginning of every academic session, the principal and HOD and conveners of different comittees address the new comers. Besides informing the students about the general rules about attendance, examination, evaluation, discipline, they are informed properly about various co-curriular and extra-curricular activities like social meetings, recitation contest, debates, seminars and paper reading. The college organize annual sports and cultural programme. The curriculum is designed by the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi . Few faculty members participate in evaluation and assessment procedure of university.
